This is really cute! ( Right mom?)

I made this last night. I couldn't blog it, my internet was down this morning. I was disappointed because it's really sweet and I wanted you all to see it. The pattern is from Oliver + S which I found it easy to follow. They gave good tips on areas that could be tricky. A beginning sewer should be able to make this with not much difficulty. I'll leave it hanging in the shop for awhile next to Jennifer's pretty dress......

  1. It is sooooooo cute, cute, CUTE!!!! It really is, no joking. Hummmmm, could it be made bigger? Since I love baggy-saggy dresses I think that would be so comfortable. Okay Rennie, I commented on your blog, are you happier now???? Don't be cranky. luv ya
oh, were you hinting to me about the pattern being easy for a beginning sewer????? I'm not a beginning sewer, I'm a delayed sewer..........

  2. ok, so not ONLY do I need to re-shop (does my hubby's ID still count as a reasonable ID for shopping? Even though it's an ID from Kuwait? Commissary doesn't think so. :( I feel vaguely guilty about the other day.) but I need to hire you and my beloved Jen (both of whom I've NOT seen nearly enough of since return to Germany) to make clothes and hats, toys and blankies for my kidlets! Justin just got a call from AAfes here, with a possible lead on a job.... so we may be here for a mini-long haul..... in which case, I am SO shopping too often at the Patch Multi Crafts. :) I miss you all so much, see you soon hopefully

  9. That dress is sooooo cute!! Does it come in really small sizes, like for a 1 year old? I think I might need to try my hand at sewing clothes......
